LINCOLN, Neb. — Three-time Olympian Jordan Larson will return to Nebraska to be a full-time assistant, coach John Prepare dinner introduced Tuesday.
Larson starred with the Cornhuskers from 2005-08 earlier than excelling on the worldwide stage. She was group captain and named most dear participant for the U.S. group that gained its first Olympic gold medal in Tokyo in 2021.
Larson, 36, plans to play in September qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics after which will be part of the Huskers’ employees.
She grew up an hour north of Lincoln, in Hooper, and led Nebraska groups that had been the NCAA runner-up in 2005 and nationwide champion in 2006. She was on the Olympic groups that took the silver medal in 2012 and the bronze in 2016, and he or she helped lead the USA to the 2014 world championship.
