After a six-year closure because of renovations, London’s most chill-inducing museum is again – and gorier than ever. Primarily based on the collections of 18th century surgeon John Hunter (and what a set; the official website says “Upon his loss of life in 1793, Hunter had amassed a set of over 14,000 specimens used for surgical coaching”), the Hunterian has made the most effective of the three,000 or so specimens that survived a 1941 bombing. Count on a crocodile captured simply because it emerges from its egg, a perfectly-preserved vulture’s head, some pores and skin tables (sure, actually), and masses extra. Ew, but additionally, ooh.
